OUR HEART

This would be the perfect place to write out the numbers of how
many children have come in & out of our doors. And while that
could be interesting, that's not the point. The point isn't how many
children we can allow to enter our home until the seams are
bursting. It's not how many children we will have 'helped' in the
lifetime of the ministry. As exciting as it is to watch the growth &
change happen in these children as they are nurtured, cared for, &
loved by many people, we never want that to be our focus. Our
heart is simply obedience to our Father, who has called us to care
for these little ones. And as we walk in obedience, our heart's desire
is to never let us get in the way of Him. That the children who walk
in our doors, and wiggle their way in our hearts, will not only leave
with a piece of our hearts, but they would have seen a whole lot of
Jesus & His love in the short time they were with us.
