How can you get involved?

Pray

A lot of prayer is needed to run & operate a
ministry like this. Pray for wisdom to teach &
train the children. Pray for relationships
among staff. Pray for continued financial
support. Pray for continued protection. Pray
for the children who come into our care. Pray
for their families. Pray for staff needs to
continue to be met. Pray for the board as
they make decisions. Pray for the local social
services as they work with hard stuff every
day. Pray for any other ways God would have
us reach out as a ministry. Pray as you feel
led. Prayer is a powerful thing. Don't neglect
its importance.

Volunteer Staff

Volunteer staff commit to serving as foster
parents. They move to one of the open CCM
houses, and go through the paperwork
process to become licensed under the state
of Virginia to be foster parents. They take
children in their care, placed by a local social
services department, and be a parent to them
for varying amounts of time. The children are
moved out of our CCM homes to either be
reunified with biological parents, adopted to a
new home, or placed with kin (kinship care).
Foster parent staff have the option to take
care of specific children based on the staff's
comfort levels (age, gender, behavior needs,
etc.)
